Pie with nuts, jam and dried fruit Eden recipes with photos

In the grocery store, which is located opposite my house, there is a wonderful section with fruits, dried fruits, nuts, etc.

The other day I went in and out there there.)) After that, I began to think what to bake from purchased dates, dried apricots, peanuts … I chose the cake Eden.

The main thing in this pie is the idea. You can experiment as much as you like with the fillings! And each time it will turn out differently! =)

I have a lean version of the test. It is easy to change it to fancy butter if desired, adding 2 eggs and replacing water with milk.

Ingredients for the filling:

– 1 glass of dates

– 3/4 cup dried apricots

– 1/2 cup of jam

– 1/2 cup peanuts

Put sugar, salt into warm water, stir until dissolved.

Add 1 cup sifted flour and yeast.

Stir until smooth.

Put the brew in a warm place for 15 minutes.

Add 1 cup of flour and vegetable oil to the dough.

Stir, add flour as much as take the dough (

Knead a smooth dough, not sticky to the hands.

Cover the dough with a napkin and put in a warm place to approach.

At this time, prepare the filling.

Cooking toppings:

Wash dates.

Cut 1/3 of the date, without touching the bone. Then remove it and cut the remaining part of the date along into two parts.

Wash dried apricots. If it is dry or harsh, pour boiling water for 10 minutes.

Prepare the jam, choose thicker, because the more liquid consistency, the greater the likelihood that the jam will flow out.

I used my jam from blanks, I call it miksovym, because It is cooked from gooseberries, red currants and raspberries.

Peanuts cut in half.

Put in a dry frying pan, ignite 7-10 minutes. Turn off the heat, add sugar, mix.

Leave 1/3 of the approached dough for roses (this part can be changed arbitrarily).

2/3 of the dough divided into 4 parts.

Each of the parts roll out in the form of strips. Put the stuffing. My first filling is dates.

Make a pinch as well as when making pies.

Put this roll seam down in the form, greased with vegetable oil.

Roll in the same way the second strip, put the next stuffing – dried apricots.

Pinch all over the roll.

Attach also roll this roll to the first roll with dates, and arrange the second roll in a spiral.

Do the same with the other two fillings – jam and peanuts.

The result is a big curl =)

Now you can prepare the decoration.

Preparation of roses:

Roll out the dough into a layer, cut out a cup with a glass.

Put 5 circles in a row with a small overlap on each other.

Make small tucks at the junctions.

Cut the roll across.

Get two roses. Bend the petals slightly to the outside.

Arrange the roses on the cake in random order. There is no need to attach them specifically, since the dough will rise in the oven and the roses will grow into the cake.

Bake 40-50 minutes at a temperature of 180-200’C.

Carefully lay out the pie on a serving plate.

Cut into portions and serve with tea.
