The love of cakes and other baked goods seems to be inherited by us. What feast in Russia did without them? To call for cakes meant to invite for a birthday party. So, in our family, in the summer we bake fruit and berry pies, and in winter – with meat, liver and fish.
I want to cook with you a puff pastry pie with meat and cheese. The cooking process itself is not complicated and takes a little time (about an hour).
For this we need:
500 grams of puff pastry
300 grams of minced meat
300 grams of cheese (200 solid Russian type, 100 sheep cheese)
I use purchased yeast-free dough, since cooking homemade puff pastry is not a simple and laborious process. We take out the dough from the freezer, but while it is being defrosted, prepare the filling.
Finely chop the onion and fry it in a frying pan in the heated vegetable oil.
Add the stuffing, fry it until done. I have minced pork, you can use almost any (with chicken it turns out more tender).
On a large grater rub cheese. The proportions of hard cheese and cheese can be changed.
Combine minced meat with grated cheese and egg. Salt gently, considering that the cheese already contains salt. Mix, filling is ready.
Now roll out the plate of dough, lay out in the form, make the bumpers.
Spread the dough on the dough, extra edges can be bent inwards. Top cover with another plate of rolled out dough, well pinch the edges. Pierce the dough with a fork and make an incision to release air.
From above we grease with a mixture of yolk, spoons of vegetable oil and pepper.
We bake in the oven, heated to 180 degrees. The cake will be ready in 40 minutes.
