How I like to bake pork chops in the oven! The most important thing is to supplement them with such ingredients that add juiciness, softness and tenderness to meat.
Meat cooked in the oven is much healthier than roasted meat, but it turns out so soft that it melts in your mouth. For these purposes, I usually take fillets on ribs. I cut the ribs for separate cooking, and use flesh-free pulp on chops.
As additives, I use mushrooms or tomatoes with onions, as in this case, and on top I cover with a cap of cheese with sour cream, which reliably keeps all the juices in the meat.
Ingredients: 500 g pork, 2 tomatoes, 1 onion, 150 g cheese, 3-4 tablespoons sour cream, salt, seasonings for meat.
I quickly wash the meat so that the excess water is not absorbed, I dry it with paper towels, and then I cut it on the plates. The pieces should not be thick, just over a centimeter.
My meat hammer is wooden, so I’m not afraid that when the plate is beaten it will flatten out a lot, but when working with a metal hammer it’s better to cover the plates with a film.
I sprinkle off the meat with salt and seasoning from the mill (you can, if you wish, collect your favorite spices separately).
After letting the bits soak for a bit so that they are soaked with spices, I put them in a baking dish.
Tomatoes and onions cut into slices.
I cover the chops first with onion rings, then with slices of tomatoes.
Next you need to prepare the mixture for the cheese cap. I rub the cheese on a grate, add sour cream and mix.
I spread a spoonful of cheese and sour cream mixture on each piece and screed. All this magnificence is baked for a little more than half an hour at a temperature of 180 degrees.
As soon as the cheese turns red and the meat is soft, we remove the form from the oven.
I usually serve chops with fresh vegetables, but you can make a more substantial side dish of potatoes or rice.
